Proxima nova

The Proxima Nova family is a complete reworking of Proxima Sans (1994). The original six fonts (three weights with italics) have been expanded to 48 full-featured OpenType fonts. There are three widths: Proxima Nova, Proxima Nova Condensed, and Proxima Nova Extra Condensed. Each width consists of 16 fonts—seven weights with matching italics.
Stylistically, Proxima Nova straddles the gap between typefaces like Futura and Akzidenz Grotesk. The result is a hybrid combining humanistic proportions with a somewhat geometric appearance.

Dosis Fonts

Dosis is a very simple, monoline rounded sans serif. We like you to have some freedom over how the letters should look, so we bundled Dosis with a few alternates that you can use to make your text look the way you want to. You can access all of them by selecting "Stylistic Alternates" in Photoshop, or activate one by one using Stylistic sets 1 to 5 in InDesign.
The Dosis family covers 88 Latin languages, similar to most "Pro" fonts from the big foundries: Afar, Afrikaans, Albanian, Basque, Bislama, Breton, Catalan, Chamorro, Chichewa, Comorian, Czech, Dutch, English, Esperanto, Estonian, Faroese, Fijian, Filipino/Tagalog, Finnish, Flemish, French, Gaelic, German, Gikuyu, Gilbertese/Kiribati, Greenlandic, Haitian Creole, Hawaiian, Hungarian, Icelandic, Indonesian, Irish, Italian, Javanese, Kashubian, Kinyarwanda, Kirundi, Latin, Latvian, Lithuanian, Luba/Ciluba/Kasai, Luxembourgish, Malagasy, Malay, Maori, Marquesan, Nauruan, Ndebele, Norwegian, Oromo, Palauan/Belauan, Polish, Portuguese, Quechua, Romansh, Sami, Samoan, Sango, Sesotho, Setswana/Sitswana/Tswana, Seychellois Creole, SiSwati/Swati/Swazi, Silesian, Slovak, Slovenian, Somali, Sorbian, Sotho, Spanish, Swahili, Swedish, Tahitian, Tetum, Tok_Pisin, Tongan, Tsonga, Tswana, Turkish, Turkmen, Tuvaluan, Uzbek/Usbek, Wallisian, Walloon, Welsh, Xhosa, Zulu.

Roboto Font

Roboto has a dual nature. It has a mechanical skeleton and the forms are largely geometric. At the same time, the font features friendly and open curves. While some grotesks distort their letterforms to force a rigid rhythm, Roboto doesn’t compromise, allowing letters to be settle in to their natural width. This makes for a more natural reading rhythm more commonly found in humanist and serif types.

This is the normal family, which can be used alongside the Roboto Condensed family and the Roboto Slab family.

Helvetica

An extension of the Sans - Serif font, the Helvetica Font has gained prominence because of its legibility. It is very easy to read text when this style is chosen. Originally developed in Switzerland, this has now many variations to choose from and some of these include Light, Narrow, Rounded, Compressed, Textbook, etc. What makes it different from the others is the fact that it can be used for multiple purposes. The clarity of the font makes it ideal for personal as well as professional use. Be it projects, presentations or emails, there is nothing more practical than the Helvetica Font. Users can check for free packs of this particular font which can be downloaded onto PCs and laptops. With a few hundred variants to choose from, this free tool can prove to be very handy for all those who are looking for the same. It is a fact that different styles of the aforementioned font are used in separate parts of the world. Therefore, users can select those that are prominent in their region and make the most of this style. Though there are some typefaces which cannot be had for free, most of them which form a part of the free packs come without any cost to the users. Apart from the style, there are several weights of the Helvetica Font. These are thin, medium, bold, heavy and black, to name a few. Users can also opt for different widths as per their requirements. The font can even be used for printing purposes by publishing houses, as most readers find it quite convenient. Therefore, it will cater to a large number of readers across the world. Since it is available for free, anyone can download and install it on his or her system.

Best Font collection for ios7

When Apple seeded iOS 7 Beta 2 to iPhone, iPod touch and iPad  many people were disappointed with the fact that Apple still decided to stick on with Helvetica Light font.  We even read a lot of criticism on Twitter where people blatantly ranted about the limitations it would cause once iOS 7 goes public. One of the limitations was that the font was too light for any practical use among long term iOS users. Fortunately, Apple heeded the feedback from developers and ultimately shifted from Helvetica light to Helvetica Regular. For most this might not be a massive change in terms of typography, but on non-retina devices this could be visual deal breaker. Not just the shift from choice of fonts, in fact, they have made the font a tad thicker (bold in plain-speak) when you plunge to the Settings. Now everything appears way better compared to what they did in first or second betas of their mobile software.

Also when you swipe down the notification centre, you would notice the change in the choice of font. However, this doesn’t mean that they have completely got rid of the Helvetica Light from iOS 7 Beta. Perhaps, they might completely omit them from the system. But currently, the unbalanced typography in the App could bring variety in the iOS 7. I feel it could be a problem in unification of UX/UI for people throughout the OS moving forward.
Barring font, one might notice fewer translucencies in Keyboard, Notification Center, Spotlight search bar in the home screen and the control centre which is basically a smarter move for better user experience. Even the animation to download and install new Apps has undergone an intense transition which we hope iOS users would love.
Undoubtedly, there are countless other changes we might get to experience in the future. Until then stay tuned for more iOS 7 related scoops!
